Gail Louise White
February 9th, 1952 – December 10th, 2024

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Gail Louise White, who died peacefully on December 10th, 2024 at the age of 72 in Vision Rest Home. Gail was born on February 9th, 1952 in St. John’s, New Brunswick.

Throughout her life, Gail, or more commonly known as Nooner or Nanny, touched the hearts of many with her gentleness, straightforwardness, and humour. She enjoyed shopping, boxed wine, and Lay’s plain potato chips, and always made time for her family and community members.

Gail is survived by her siblings Valerie Marshall and Gary Sproul, daughters Amanda Philipson and Stephanie (Gord) Vandevenne, her grandchildren Laura (Sean) McLaughlin, Rob (Amanda) Houle, Hannah D’Andrea (Cameron), Amber Vandevenne, Katie Vandevenne (Devon), and Nia, Cara, Jack, and Gideon Philipson, nephews Chris and Ricci (Isabelle), niece Heather, great grandchildren Harli, Olivia, Jace, Emerson, Ashton and Declan. She was predeceased by Robert Joseph White and Madison Vandevenne.

A formal memorial or funeral service is not taking place. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Vision Nursing and Rest Home in memory of Gail White.

The family would like to express their deepest gratitude for the love and support they have received during this time.
