On January 18, our best friend, Wayne McKaig passed away. He leaves Pat, his wife of 55 years; sons, Benjamin (Ashia) and Matthew (Kate), and their children, Heather, Ainsley, Kennedy, Avery, Logan and Rachel; sisters-in-law, Chris Yates (Carl), Janet and Kathy Mozga, and mother-in-law, Donna Mozga. Predeceased by father-in-law, Carol Okolisan (George). He also leaves a brother, John, sisters, Marg and Bonnie and several nieces and nephews.

Wayne was such an amazing person-so proud of his family and their accomplishments. As the eternal "optimist" he loved to meet people and be involved. This led him to actively support the Bayfield Optimists, the Imperial City Hunt Club, the Boy Scouts of Canada, his golf game, and his antiques and retail business in Bayfield, Pineridge Country House. Before retiring to Bayfield, Wayne worked for 37 years at Esso Petroleum in Sarnia.

Friends and family are welcome to come join us in celebrating Wayne's life at the Sarnia Golf and Curling Club on February 26, 2-5.
