With family by his side, Bruce passed away at Sarnia’s Bluewater Hospital on

Wednesday March 12th, 2025. He was 71 years of age.

Beloved husband of Marna Rae for 49 years and loving Pa to his children Kyler

and Lizzie Walters who he cared for since birth. Loving and caring father of Robin

McMillan, Chris Walters, Wendy Cramer and Marshall Sequin. Cherished Pa to

Shelby Hawryluk, Papa to Aaron, Nathan, Brianna and Abby McMillian.

Predeceased by his parents Phillip & Lois (Fulkerson) Walters, brother Danny

Fickling and his nephew Craig Brimmer. Bruce will be sadly missed by his

stepmother Eva Walters and his siblings, Ron Walters, Dan Walters, Don Brimmer,

Neil MacArthur, Tina Charlton, Joe Charlton, Brenda Charlton, Keith Charlton,

Edith Larabee, Becky Larabee, Gail Thomas, Bill Schieman, Paul Schieman and

Dave Schieman. Loved by his many nieces, nephews and friends.

Bruce was employed as a sailor on the Arctic Trader before taking a job at Dow

Chemical. He worked there until suffering a massive heart attack in 1988.

The family would like to thank the Bluewater Health palliative team for the love

and care provided during Bruces last days. Family would also like to acknowledge

the great and compassionate care given by his many PSW’s, Care Partner’s – Gary

and Don, Nurse Blaine, the March of Dimes staff and a heartfelt thank you to Dr.

Kim. We are forever grateful for the care everyone provided to Bruce.

Graveside service at Lakeview Cemetery (1016 Colborne Rd, Sarnia) in section K

on Friday March 21st at 12pm. A memorial service is to follow at the Sarnia

Legion (286 Front Street N, Sarnia) from 1- 4pm.
