Joan Doreen Smeltzer (Perry) passed away peacefully on September 26, 2024, at the age of 68. Joan was born June 19, 1956 in Sarnia, Ontario, and was the daughter of Winnie and William Perry.  Joan is preceded in death by her brother Wayne .Joan spent her childhood and early adult life in Sarnia, ON, where she met the love of her life, Dale Smeltzer. They were happily married August 20, 1988 and remained so until Joan’s passing. Joan will be missed by her two loving daughters: Jennifer (husband Joe) and Colleen (husband Anas). Joan loved spending time with her five grandchildren: Noah, Aiden, Julian, Gabriel, and Lily. Joan and her grandkids shared a love of pets, pizza, and adventure movies. Joan loved reading, gardening, watching movies, and having adventures with her husband, Dale. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. There will be a private celebration of life for Joan in accordance with her wishes.
