Obituaries

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Sandra (Sandi) Compagnion (Chipman), of Sarnia, Ont. on May 3, 2023 at Bluewater Health, at the age of 78.

Sandi was born on Dec. 10, 1944 in Humber/Corner Brook, NL.

She will be lovingly remembered by her devoted husband of 56 years, Ernie; their children: Stephen, Scott (Krystal) and Sabrina Litchfield (Patrick); cherished grandchildren: Connor, Aiden, Ryley, Addison, Ava, Eric, Charlee, Kinslee & Ezra; best friend of 60 years and second family, Margie Gagne (late Jack), their children Nicole Clarke (Steve), Chad and Craig and grandchildren; and dear friend Dee Healy (and family). Survived by many extended family and friends who were always in her heart.

Predeceased by Mom and Pop Chipman (Phoebe and Walter).

Sandi was very passionate about local and national politics and was a longtime proud supporter and friend of Mayor Mike Bradley.

Sandi's love of all things, "Elvis Presley", her commitment to creative gifts, and the love she had for her family and friends will always be remembered by those who knew and loved her.

Cremation has taken place and a small private ceremony will be held with family at a later date.
