It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that we announce the passing of Rhona Russell McIlwraith, age 73, on November 2nd,2023 at St Joseph’s Hospice in Sarnia. Predeceased by her son, Robert. Survived by her husband of 51 years, Ken, son David (Pam), sister Anne (John), brothers Brian (Julie), John (Jules), Alan (Anne Michelle) and many nieces and nephews in the U.K. and Australia.
Rhona spent the majority of her career in Dietary Management in both hospital and long term care settings, the latter part of her career being at Strathmere Lodge (Strathroy). Rhona enjoyed gardening, knitting, crocheting and more recently, card making.
Cremation has already taken place. In lieu of flowers, sympathy may be expressed through donations to St Joseph’s Hospice(Sarnia) or a charity of your choice.
