WARING, Pamela(Sauve)
February 10, 1950 - October 8, 2023
It is with deeply saddened hearts that weannounce the passing of our beautiful wife, mother, grandmother and sister,Pam, due to many complications from rheumatoid arthritis. Pam courageouslybattled her circumstances and did her best to stay with us for as long as shepossibly could.
Pam is survived by her husband of 51 years,Brian, daughter Amy (Derek) Robson of West Bloomfield, MI and son Brett(Brianna) of Camlachie. Loving sister to Val (John) Monger of Sarnia, NancyBrown of Windsor and JoAnne (Kevin) McAlpine of Courtright. The best Nana tograndchildren Thaddeous and Jacqueline Robson and Reggie and Theo Waring.Sister-in-law to Dick Waring of Perrysburg, OH, Karen (Gary) Wright, MarkWaring, Randy (Sandy) Waring and Cindy Canie, all of Sarnia. Amazing aunt toseveral nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Marjorie (Ferguson) andLeonard Sauve, brother Raymond Sauve (Isabel) of England and sisters-in-lawSheryle Waring and Susan Waring.
Born in England, Pam came to Sarnia with herfamily when she was a little girl and charmed her classmates with her Britishaccent. When Pam was in high school she took a job at a grocery store so shecould travel to Europe with her sister one summer. Pam loved the social aspectof the job and worked at A&P/Metro for over 40 years making lifelongfriends along the way. Pam was the most selfless person anyone could ever know;a fabulous cook, she was the consummate hostess to anyone that walked throughher door at any time. Along with her great sense of humour, Pam's smile wouldlight up any room; she always went above and beyond to accommodate everyonewithout hesitation or complaint. Pam was a lover of all animals; however,Nathan, Muffin and Dalton held an extra special place in her heart.
With over 30 visits to Bluewater Health, you canimagine the number of nurses that had to care for Pam and for that we extend abig heartfelt thank you. Nurses are truly a blessing. Thank you to Dr. Cheongon the 4th Floor for his compassion and a very special thank you to Dr. ColinWay who went the extra mile; you will always be remembered by our family.
Sympathy may be expressed through donations tothe Sarnia Humane Society. A celebration of life to remember Pam will be heldSaturday, November 4 from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Point Edward Optimist Club.
