It is with the heaviest of hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Murray Kay McMaster on March 10, 2023 . Beloved husband to Linda for 35 years and loving father to Pam (John), Kim (Brad), Jamie (Mel), Laura(Craig).
Everyone who knew Murray knew he had an infectious personality and was an amazing storyteller. He was an avid traveler and loved to experience other cultures but ultimately he loved nothing more than to be surrounded by friends and family.
Murray was tremendously proud of his long policing career. He had 31 years of dedicated service with the OPP retiring from the force as Deputy Commissioner. Following that in 1990 Murray became Sarnia's police Chief during which time he was awarded the Police Exemplary Service Medal.
The family will be holding a private service. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to your charity of choice.
