MOORE, Nancy Lee

After a brief illness, Nancy Lee (Mackrell) Moore, aged 81 years, passed away on March 16, 2024, at Bluewater Health in Sarnia, Ontario.   She was born on July 26, 1942, in Windsor, Ontario, to Andrew William Mackrell (1919-1992) and Hilda Lillian (Little) Mackrell (1925-2005).  

In 1969, Nancy married Harry Gordon Moore (1944-2004), and together they shared cherished memories until his passing.   She is survived by her brother-in-law Jim Moore, sister-in law-Lynn (Moore) Leeson, and several nieces and nephews.

Nancy spent her formative years in Sarnia and remained a proud resident of the “tree” streets throughout her life.   She was employed by CHOK Radio and Steeplejack Services.   Nancy was active in various community activities such as bowling leagues, dart club, card clubs, the Royal Canadian Naval Association, and in her later years’ bingo.

Following Nancy’s wishes, her ashes will be interred on March 23, 2024, at Lakeview Cemetery, alongside her beloved husband, parents, and sister Andrea, who preceded her in death.
