Margaret Szilagyi (nee Pastor) born July 18/30 in Niagara Falls, passed suddenly at Bluewater Health from a stroke on June 7/23, age 92. She was pre-deceased by her husband Zoltan (1991), sister Helen Virag (2017), parents Frank and Mary (Velecky) Pasztor.
She is survived by her daughters Linda Donnelly (Brian) and Cathy Sarvari (Frank). Nana’s loving grandchildren are Kristine, Heather (Adam Kidy), and Kevin Donnelly, Adrian and Laura (Jerry Koo) Sarvari and great grandson, Jax Koo.
A passionate dog lover, Margaret hoped to be greeted by her 12 fur babies at the “Rainbow Bridge”. She always took pride in her gardens, lawns and secretarial career.
The family thanks the Doctors and Staff on the Acute Stroke Unit at Bluewater Health. Their care, patience and knowledge was warmly appreciated.
As per Margaret’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Donations can be made in her name to the Humane Society, Alzheimer’s Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
