MAHAR, Maurice Michael
Passed way in his 76th year, on October 21, 2024, at St. Joseph’s Hospice in Sarnia. Beloved spouse and best friend of Carolyn. Beloved spouse and best friend of Carolyn. Predeceased by his parents Wilfred Joseph and Elizabeth (Croke), his father in law John, brother Wilfred James, brother in law David and Rick. Left to mourn are his daughters Lisa (Paul),and Kelly; stepsons Matthew (Claire), Andrew (McKinley), his sister Sheila, mother in law Frances and many brothers and sisters in law. Loving grandfather to Nathan, Caleb, Liam, Scarlett, Amelia, Bronson, and Hudson.
“Mike” will be missed by many nieces, nephews, and many close friends. The family would like to thank Bluewater Health, St. Joseph’s Hospice, the physicians, nurses and volunteers for all the wonderful care he received during his stay.
A Celebration of life will held at the Sarnia Navy Club, 1420 Lougar Avenue, Sarnia, on Saturday, November 9,2024, from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm. Burial to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Lindsay, Ontario, on November 12, 2024, at 1:00 pm. Memorial donations may be made to St. Joseph’s Hospice of Sarnia or to the Sarnia Lambton Humane Society.
