Lloyd Walter MacLean, affectionately known as "Pink Lloyd," passed away on March 1st, 2025. He was born on June 3rd, 1936, in Pictou, Nova Scotia. Lloyd was a vibrant and eccentric individual who lived life on his own terms, often leaving his mark with labels around town saying "Pink Lloyd was here." He took great pride in his home, which he called "Pink Lloyd's castle."

Lloyd had a diverse career, starting as a young man working on ships and oil tankers in the engine room and wheelhouse. He later became a Pipeline Foreman at the age of 23. He was known for his love of vehicles, particularly his Jaguar, Bricklin, and Bombardier Spyder, as well as his iconic red scooter Ferrari car.

Lloyd was a social person who enjoyed daily interactions with the community, often sitting under the Bluewater Bridge to watch the water and chat with passersby. He was predeceased by his parents, Vera Jane and Dr. Thomas Walter MacLean. Siblings, Marg & Sid Roy, Val & Dr. Don MacEachen, Ino Thompson, Malcolm & Penny MacLean and son Brian MacLean. He is survived by his children Scott (Michele), Susan (Rod), and Stacy (Mike), along with his grandchildren Colton, Brennan, Callyn, and Braeden. Lloyd's zest for life and his memorable sayings, such as "the Devil made me do it," will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
