It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Brian Thomas Gabriel of Lambton Shores, Ontario, at the age of 63. He died, peacefully, in the palliative care unit at Bluewater Health Services after a lengthy struggle that he was not able to overcome.
Brian grew up on Marcin Road in Sarnia, Ontario. He attended King George VI elementary, Northern Collegiate and went on to earn his Red Seal Boilermaker certificate.
He was a hard working, devoted member of Boilermakers Local 128 and spent his career working at various sites in the Sarnia region as well as the Bruce nuclear facility.
Brian is survived by his two brothers Robert V Gabriel (Kelley) and John A Gabriel, his niece Keela Coss (John) and nephew Brendan Gabriel (Kristina). He also leaves behind three grand nephews Ethan, Bentley and Coleman.
He was predeceased by his parents Robert J Gabriel (Bob) and Kathryn A Gabriel.
There are many people out there who will remember Brian as an incredible man, a truly amazing person who was loving, caring and just a fun guy to be around.
There will be no memorial service at his request.
Donations can be made to the Sarnia & District Humane Society or a charity of your choice.
