Why do Saturday interments cost extra?
The reason why there are extra charges is because we are technically closed on Saturdays. We need to pull our staff in on overtime hours; therefore we need to cover the cost for them.
Does a funeral home need to be involved?
Yes. We do not have the licensing to transport the deceased from the place of death to the cemetery.
How much are cemetery costs?
Well it is completely up to your wishes and how you want to be laid to rest. If you come into the office one of our friendly Client Services Advisors will be more than happy to give you a quote on your needs.
Do you have Section Maps of the Cemetery?
Yes. If you come into the office with the information found on the burial database from this website then we will be able to give you the section map to where your loved ones are.
Where do I go for a marker or a stone?
Lakeview Cemetery will sit down with you and design the stone of your choice as long as it is in accordance with the cemetery by-laws. Once we have discussed how you want your stone on paper, it will take a couple of weeks for the drawing to be complete. Once it is, we will call you to come in for a final approval of the drawing before it is sent to be completed.
How many interments can take place in one grave?
The by-laws state that up to 2 interments can take place. Only one full burial and a cremation, or two cremations can take place.
